GOOD MUSIC. YOUR PEOPLE.

This song made
me think of you.

Some things are better said with a song. Send one with a thought, build a mixtape together, or make something just for them.

Mixtape’s orange cassette with heart-shaped reels and a ribbon of tape forming a heart
Old-school feeling.
A new way to keep it.

MAKE IT PERSONAL

One song can say a lot.

A hello. A memory. The words you couldn’t quite find.

A LITTLE INSPIRATION
“Remember the drive home, when we played this three times?”

Send the song. Keep the moment.

Choose a song in Apple Music, share it to Mixtape, and add the thought that makes it yours.

FROM A SONG TO SOMEONE

Less broadcasting.
More meaning.

  1. 01

    Find your song

Start in Apple Music. Share a song to Mixtape when someone comes to mind.

  2. 02

    Add your words

Choose your person and write a note. Or collect a few songs into a mixtape before sending.

  3. 03

    Make it theirs

Send when you’re ready. Your friend can return to the songs and the memories you shared.

SOME SONGS ARE JUST FOR YOU

Keep a little collection of yourself.

Save the songs and thoughts you aren’t ready to share in My Private Collection. They stay there until you choose to share a song.

Before you press play.

Do I need Apple Music?

An Apple Music subscription and permission to access it are needed to play Apple Music songs inside Mixtape. Mixtape does not include an Apple Music subscription.

Does making a mixtape send it straight away?

No. A new draft stays private while you build it. You choose when to send it. After you send an Our Mixtape, new songs added to that shared mixtape are shared with your friend.

Is Mixtape available yet?

Mixtape is currently being tested on iPhone. Public launch details will be shared here when it’s ready.

What if my song comes from Instagram?

You can share its link to Mixtape and look for the right recording in Apple Music. If the exact song or remix isn’t available, keep the original link instead.
